GO AHEAD, SKIP THE GYM!

Here are three simple ways to get a workout - without working out.

Make Plans
Even if you're on a lay-out-on-the-beach kind of trip, sign up for at least one activity per day. An hour of sightseeing on foot, 45 minutes of snorkeling, or 40 minutes of hiking burn the same number of calories as 30 minutes of jogging.

Looks for Challenges
Keep an eye out for summit trails, historic towers with amazing views (but no elevators!), or a rock wall on your cruise ship. These activities will work your body and show you how much it's capable of. Maybe you'll even be inspired to stay active and take on more adventures once you're home!

Carry your own luggage
You could have a bellhop do it for you, but hauling those bags yourself will tone your arms.
